Spiritual Dynamics of Hypnosis

In my practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and MindSet Coach, I have come to recognize the spiritual interplay that happens during the experience of hypnosis, both for me as a guide and for the person going into trance.

Spiritual dynamics of hypnosis are evident to me as I go into trance and channel the words that come to me in my role as hypnotherapist. There is a trust there for me that allows me to relax into the process of receiving. I believe that what the person needs to hear in that moment to prompt them to heal or change their perspective, comes through me from a higher place.

The preparation before the session leads up to the channeling and for me it’s a spiritual alignment that is created with divine energy that allows me to trust and let it be. I have an idea of the visions I might create for a positive future for this client, but there are aspects that come into the session that come from a higher knowing and this is the feeling that I find to be the most magnificent, to tap into the place of infinite wisdom to help the person that is before me.

The flow of phrases and words that come to me create a personalized session that addresses their challenges and brings in many other ideas and suggestions that are sometimes practical but mostly create benefits based transformations. These come as a result of my alignment with universal love, the magnificent energy that is available to everyone.

As a guide, my focus is on the needs of my subject and it is the intention that I create prior to the session that helps to bring Spirit through me to be the vehicle to heal. It’s a wonderful feeling to allow the energy to flow from a place of love and compassion.

As a client, they are guided into relaxation which is really the key to letting the conscious mind step aside and allow access to the suggestive subconscious. In letting go and allowing the opening to happen, they are tapping into the all-knowing energy that may include, subconscious, superconscious, akasha or the field. They are all a place of resource when it comes to asking questions about the soul’s journey.

We are essentially on this earth in physical form as a soul trying to learn our lessons and evolve to a higher frequency. So when you allow contact to be made at the soul level in a deep relaxed state, you are going to feel some insights come to you from the sources named above. It’s going to feel like it came out of no where, but it’s always been within, because you are part of the universal energy that is source.

We receive insights, healing and answers when we are calm, relaxed and when we are ready. And there is something about the flow of energy that artists, musicians and athletes experience during their craft that brings insight and answers from the state of allowing that lets this happen.

When I practice self hypnosis, I have a few moments of relaxing my body and my breath and then I have a feeling that I have arrived. It’s from this moment on that the fun begins.

In this state, I take control of my thoughts and I can imagine that I am in a warm tropical climate, when it is cold and raining outside. This brings to me a magical warmth that wards off feelings of lower energy of depression or sadness.

I can take my mind to a tranquil garden or the depths of space and talk to my angels and meet my guides. I can hear or sense the messages they have for me that are always filled with support and guidance.

I can create a vision of letting go of the emotional energy of an experience that happened 20 years ago and feel the sensation of becoming lighter as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. And I can create the intention of reacting to it differently when I think of it later.

All of these thoughts are created in partnership with universal energy, tapping into the spiritual energy that we are. There is no doubt in my mind that healing comes from divine love. That is the dynamic that is created when the mind is ready to receive.
